Post Autofill – Privacy Policy

Post Autofill is a Chrome extension that fills the "Add post" form of a business profile on Google with posts the user has written in their own Google Doc. This policy explains what data the extension handles and how.

Summary

The extension has no server. We do not collect, receive, store or sell any of your data.
Everything the extension saves stays in your own browser (Chrome extension storage on your computer).
The extension only talks to Google pages you already use: Google Docs, Google Search / Business Profile pages and Google Maps links.
What data the extension handles
Google Doc content you add. When you add a Google Doc link, the extension reads that doc (its text and images) from Google Docs using your own signed-in browser session, so it can fill your posts. It also writes a short "✅ POSTED <date>" mark next to a post heading in that doc when you mark a post as posted.
Business name and address on the page. On Google business profile pages the extension reads the business name and address shown on screen, only to pick the matching project.
Google Maps links in your doc. The extension opens the map link to read the business ID, so it can open the correct business.
Settings and progress. Your list of projects (doc links, business names, locations), which posts are done, today's posting list and your option settings.
Where the data is stored
All of the above is stored only in your browser's local extension storage. It is not sent to the developer or to any third party. Uninstalling the extension deletes this stored data.

What we do not do
We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties.
We do not use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose (filling business profile posts from your Google Doc).
We do not use user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending.
We do not collect passwords, payment details, location, browsing history or analytics.
The extension never publishes or schedules a post. You review and press Post yourself.
Permissions
storage – saves your projects and progress in your browser.
tabs – opens the business page or Google Doc in a tab and returns you to the tab you were on.
Access to Google sites (google.com and country versions, business.google.com, docs.google.com, googleusercontent.com, Google Maps links) – needed to read your doc, fill the post form and open the right business.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
